The anime, directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi, began airing on Japan’s Fuji TV on January 10, 1996 and ended on September 8, 1998. Like any other production, the anime has protagonist and antagonist characters. According to us, this anime has some of the best character development we’ve ever seen and because of that, we highly recommend you knowing your characters before, during or after you finish watching the anime.
